They’re commonly used names for the same rugged steel ISO container. We rent and sell these units for secure, weather-resistant storage.
Are your containers Water Tight, Wind Tight, and Vermin Proof?
Yes. All rental and sales units we supply are inspected and Water Tight, Wind Tight, and Vermin Proof with lockable double doors and solid wood floors.
What sizes do you offer?
- Rentals: 20 ft (20′ L × 8′ W × 8′ H)
- Sales: 10 ft, 20 ft, and 40 ft, in standard (8′6″) and high cube (9′6″) options, subject to availability.

Can I visit to see containers before I decide?
Yes. Visit our location to see our actual inventory before you rent or buy.
Do I need a permit to keep a container on my property?
Rules vary by municipality/HOA. Please check local bylaws, especially for long-term placements.
Rental
What is the monthly rental price?
$185/month + HST for a 20 ft container. One-month minimum.
Can I rent month-to-month?
Yes. Month-to-month rentals are standard.
Do you offer on-site storage at your yard?
Yes. Store your rental at our North Bay yard with 24/7 drive-up access in a monitored facility.
Can I keep a rental at my home, cottage, business, or jobsite?
Yes, as long as access and surface conditions are suitable. Delivery and pickup are billed time-based.
Can I move a rental container to a new site later?
Yes. We can pick up and re-deliver to your next address. Time is billed from our yard.
Do you rent sizes other than 20 ft?
No. Rentals are 20 ft only. Other sizes are available for purchase.
Sales
Do you sell new and used containers?
Yes. We sell one-trip (new) and used, inspected containers. All meet Water Tight, Wind Tight, and Vermin Proof standards.
Which sizes can I buy?
10 ft, 20 ft, and 40 ft. Heights include standard (8′6″) and high cube (9′6″), subject to current stock.
Should I buy or rent?
- Rent: best for short projects (1–6 months) or testing a location/bylaws.
- Buy: better long-term value, allows customization (lock box, shelving, paint/branding), and ideal for repeated use or multiple sites.
Can I choose my specific unit?
Yes. Visit our yard to select from actual inventory before you purchase.
Delivery & Site Requirements
Do you deliver and pick up?
Yes. Delivery & pickup are billed at $135/hour from our North Bay yard (applies to both rental delivery and rental pickup).
How much space is required for delivery?
Plan for about 50 ft of straight-line clearance for our tilt-deck truck to unload safely.
What kind of surface do I need?
A flat, stable, accessible surface such as gravel, asphalt, concrete, or compacted soil.
What access details should I share?
Let us know about tight turns, trees/branches, overhead lines, culverts, slopes/grades, soft ground, gates, or narrow driveways.
Can you orient the container doors a specific way?
Yes. We’ll plan door orientation (toward/away from the street or work area) before delivery.
Do you deliver in winter?
Yes. Please ensure plowed/sanded access and avoid deep ruts or soft shoulders.
Can you deliver to remote cottages or rural roads?
Often yes. Share road conditions, bridge limits, and exact location details so we can confirm feasibility.
Security & Quality
What security do you recommend?
Use a high-quality padlock. Ask us about lock box options for added protection.
Are floors and doors in good condition?
Yes. Units are inspected for door operation, seals, and flooring.
What are typical door opening dimensions?
Approx. 7′8″ wide × 7′5″ high (varies slightly by manufacturer/year). Ask us to confirm for a specific unit.
Pricing & Billing
What affects the final price to buy a container?
Size (10/20/40), condition (used vs. one-trip), market availability, and delivery distance/placement complexity.
How are delivery and pickup billed?
Time-based at $135/hour from our North Bay yard. Actual time depends on distance, traffic, access conditions, and placement maneuvers.
Do complex placements cost more?
They can. Tight lanes, slopes, back-in maneuvers, or additional site time may add cost. We’ll quote before you book.
Residential Storage
Can I keep a container in my driveway?
Usually yes, if access and surface are suitable. Check local bylaws or HOA rules for long-term placements.
Is on-site yard storage available if I don’t want a container at home?
Yes. You can keep your rental at our yard with 24/7 access.
What fits in a 20 ft container for a home project?
Typically, the contents of a 2–3 bedroom home (packed efficiently), or a full room clear-out for renovations (kitchen/basement/garage), plus seasonal items.
Contractor & Jobsite Storage
Do you deliver directly to active jobsites?
Yes. We frequently deliver to construction sites, renovations, and industrial projects across North Bay and nearby towns.
Can you handle POs and multiple site contacts?
Yes. We support purchase orders and can coordinate with multiple contacts.
Can I rent multiple containers?
Yes, subject to availability. We regularly supply multi-unit sites.
Can you re-deliver to the next jobsite?
Yes. We’ll pick up and deliver to the next address; time is billed from our yard.
Do you offer add-ons like shelving or ramps?
Yes. Ask about basic shelving/racking, ramps, and lock boxes.
Recreational Vehicle & ATV Storage
Will my machines fit through the doors?
Standard double doors are approx. 7′8″ W × 7′5″ H (varies slightly). Share your machine dimensions and we’ll confirm.
Do I need a ramp?
A ramp makes loading ATVs, sleds, and lawn tractors easier. Ask about options.
Can I store fuel or oils inside?
Avoid hazardous materials and follow local regulations for any fuels or pressurized cylinders.
Can you deliver to cottages/camps?
Often yes. Provide access and road details so we can confirm.
Seasonal Storage
What seasonal items fit well in a 20 ft container?

Is renting better for seasonal storage?
